About the ResMed AirCurve 11 ASV

Designed to treat central sleep apnea, the ResMed AirCurve 11 ASV adapts to your unique breathing patterns as they change throughout the night. The adaptive servo-ventilation (ASV) algorithm recognizes when you stop breathing and delivers a breath. It helps patients with periodic breathing, mixed sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea, and central sleep apnea.

Each breath is continuously monitored by the ASVAuto algorithm, which tracks 13 points on each cycle 50 times per second. The device makes treatment feel comfortable and seamless by synchronizing therapy with your natural breathing patterns by analyzing the timing and shape of each breath.

• Auto-Adjusting Inspiratory Pressure Support: Automatically adapts to maintain your personal ventilation target (tidal volume and respiratory rate) while keeping therapy comfortable and in sync with your breathing.

Indication: The ResMed AirCurve 11 ASV is indicated for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in patients weighing more than 66 lb (30 kg). It is suitable for both home and hospital use. *ASV therapy is contraindicated in patients with chronic, symptomatic heart failure (NYHA 2-4) with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF ≤ 45%) and moderate to severe predominant central sleep apnea.*
