Do you find yourself waking up tired, or maybe with a headache or dry mouth? Obstructive sleep apnea could be to blame. This happens when your breathing is interrupted during sleep, often for more than ten seconds.
When you sleep, your muscles relax, including the throat and chest muscles that help you breathe. If you have sleep apnea, relaxation of throat muscles combine with a narrowed airway to interrupt breathing.

At-home sleep apnea testing is an easy, cost-effective way to figure out whether you’re having trouble breathing. You can always perform a spirometry test first, with us.
A home sleep apnea test is a very simplified breathing monitor that tracks your breathing, oxygen levels, and breathing effort while worn. It does not fully capture what is monitored with an overnight sleep study. Overnight sleep studies give a more thorough assessment of sleep issues. They are attended by a sleep technologist and capture many more signals, including brainwaves for sleep, muscle tone, and leg movements. For individuals with certain heart, breathing, or neuromuscular problems, an overnight sleep study at a sleep center may be better.

If you’re uncertain if you should schedule an appointment with your physician regarding Sleep Apnea, you can start by completing our FREE Online Sleep Assessment to determine if you could be in need of Overnight Pulse Oximetry(OPO) or Home Sleep Test (HST).

Visit Your Physician

If your assessment shows signs of sleep-disordered breathing or another sleep disorder, bring your results with when visiting your personal physician and discuss options of an overnight pulse oximetry test or Home Sleep Test (HST). If they believe you may be in need of it, they will order the test for you.

Test to be Done

Once the test has been ordered by your physician, Call Clinique RespiArt at 4389261886 to take an appointment to do the test.

Review Results with Sleep specialist

The Overnight Pulse Oximetry (OPO)Test report or Home Sleep Test (HST) report will be send directly to your physician for review. Your physician will follow up with you regarding the results and what is the next step to be done.

Usually your doctor will assess your test results and your symptoms and decides if you need a treatment for sleep apnea.

We were trying to find solutions to bring her back to Canada but she couldn’t travel without oxygen. Our hopes were down because the only way to procure a portable oxygen concentrator was to purchase one, prices were very high. Thank goodness we managed to find this company (respiart) that would allow us to rent the equipment and travel back and forth to the country. Mr Moualla (owner of reapiart) was very helpful during the procedure, he even opened a new box of the portable concentrator to make sure my mother had a machine that would be functional.
